GOOD THERMAL PROTECTION.
The insulating properties of  ISODAN are comparable with other insulating materials currently on the market.  ISODAN gives good thermal protection (Thermal conductivity  0,0354 W/MK).
ISODAN is blown into a building“s construction and gives an even insulating layer that seals all spaces and cracks.

A GOOD FIRE RETARDANT.
One of  ISODAN“s most important properties is that the fibre is an excellent fire retardant. ISODAN does not burn or melt. Even at 1200° C the fibre will only char slowly and stops as soon as the flame is extinguished. Many lives can be saved if fires are stopped from spreading and if no toxious gasses are emitted.

ISODAN does not burn or melt and it restricts the spreading of fires.

ENVIRONMEMTALLY DESIRABLE AND ECONOMICAL IN RAW MATERIALS.
ISODAN is produced from recycled paper thus turning waste paper into a valuable insulating material.  ISODAN can be recycled. The production process gives no harmful emissions into the air, ground or water.

REGULATED DAMPNESS.
ISODAN is an organic material that absorbs and give off moisture. The building is able to "breath".
ISODAN regulates dampness and thus ensures a healthy indoor climate. You do not need to live in a  " plastic bag " but rather in a house that is able to " breath " without having draughts or considerable loss of heat.

GOOD SOUND INSULATION.
Because of its specific high weight (density in walls 40 - 65 kg/m³)  ISODAN has good sound - proofing properties

GOOD PROTECTIONS AGAINST DRAUGHTS.
ISODAN provides good protection against draughts and can be injected into attics without roof lining. The high quality and fineness of the fibre provides excellent protection against draughts, minimal heat loss and savings in fuel costs.

CONSUMER FRIENDLY.
When insulating with ISODAN, no cutting is involved and therefore is no waste. No storage or expensive transportation of the insulating material is involved. When working with ISODAN, there“s no pricking or itching irritation.

DISCOURAGES INSECTS AND PESTS.
A small amount of mineral salts are added to ISODAN in order to make the material fire retarding and resistant to fungi, rot and pests. Mice and rats do no thrive in ISODAN.

A RECYCLED PRODUCT.
ISODAN is produced from old newspapers.
The insulating material can be recycled.
The insulating material can be stored without harming the environment.
The insulating material does not contain chemical agents.
The insulating material can be produced without harming the environment.

LOCALLY PRODUCED.
ISODAN is produced in most European countries. When you choose  ISODAN instead of other insulating materials, you get a healthier indoor climate. The relation between ecology and economy is improved. This alone is an excellent reason for choosing   ISODAN.
