GOOD THERMAL PROTECTION. The insulating properties of  ISODAN are comparable with other insulating materials currently on the market.  ISODAN gives good thermal protection (Thermal conductivity  0,0354 W/MK). ISODAN is blown into a building´s construction and gives an even insulating layer that seals all spaces and cracks.
	A GOOD FIRE RETARDANT. One of  ISODAN´s most important properties is that the fibre is an excellent fire retardant. ISODAN does not burn or melt. Even at 1200° C the fibre will only char slowly and stops as soon as the flame is extinguished. Many lives can be saved if fires are stopped from spreading and if no toxious gasses are emitted.
